Perseverance, according to various definitions from Dictionary.com is:- Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.
- Persistent determination
- And, biblically a continuance in a state of grace to the end, leading to eternal salvation.
It is therefore with utmost joy and gladness of heart that I received the Perseverance Award from Channelofhealing. The blog has been a great source of inspiration and encouragement to me. MumsDadsChildren has also received other awards from COH in times past and I must say a big thank you to Isaiah of Joie de Vivre who presented the award to Channelofhealing.
Indeed givers never lack!

I feel humbled by this award. I will explain.
I used to waste my time online visiting chatting rooms and playing computer games. I thought that was the only use (beside official work) I can make of the internet access I have in my office.
Somehow, I cannot really remember, I stumbled on some blogs and I was inspired to start writing.
When I started blogging, www.mumsdadschildren.blogspot.com (now www.mumsdadschildren.com) was one of my favourite (and it still is). I enjoy the articles.
Through few comments that I dropped, the blogger Sister B (that's how I love referring to her) took it upon herself (maybe unconsciously) to encourage me. She is one of the few online friends that I cannot fail to mention in my online success story.
Honestly, it is those men and women that have helped me as a newbie blogger that really deserve the award. If not that God used them, I guess I would still have been wasting hours in game rooms!
With all sincerity, I say a very big thank you. (I guess I have to open a page on my site where I can paste the award ;-) ) I never thought of it before now, and I am still trying to find my feet with wordpress!

Bola, thank you so much for this award. I had actually received it from Sidharth, already, but in a few days, I will do a thank you to everyone that has given me an award recently.
